Within Expo park, renamed Parque das Nações, almost a whole day can be spent within the park if the excellent Lisbon Oceanarium and large shopping centre is visited. Evening/Night - Expo ParkExpo park is the trendy place to spend a large night, Thursday friday and saturdays are always more crowded so try to plan to go out on one of these nights. All of the bars, restaurants and clubs are in one long strip so unlike Barrio Alto little walking is needed.
The clubs usually have drink offers as the portuguese are not great drinkers but do expect fussy door staff. Clubs start late, 11pm is opening, and only fill up after 1am. The night would include:
The popular shisha / Moroccan bar of Expo is not in the strip of bars but much further northern in the residential area, many tourist have be know to waste a night looking for this bar.
